This elderflower-lemon-lime limonade reminds me of summer, flowers and long late nights.
The lemon and lime is filled with vitamin c and the elderflower juice is meant to be a immune booster.
In my drink I’ve used homemade elderflower juice and homemade lilac syrup as sweetener (you can find my recipe here ) 🙂
Late summer night memories limonade
Serves 4
Freshly squeezed juice from 1 lemon and one lime
1/2 – 1 dl lilac syrup, sugar, honey or whatever sweetener you prefer. (The amount of sweetener depends on how sweet your elderflower juice is and how sweet you prefer your drink)
2 dl homemade (or store bought) elderflower juice
Aprx 2 dl water
Crushed ice
More water to dilute
•Add water along with syrup (or the preferred sweetener) to a casserole.
• put on low heat and whisk until sugar dissolves.
• pour the lemon and lime juice into a large pitcher add the sweetened water and the elderflower juice and mix well.
• now add crushed ice and more water to your liking
