So was the question; what do you do to make your hair so shiny and lively and fresh? I told my simple “secret” about my diy hairspray with essential oils and they were all stunned.
Now I’ve decided I wanted to share the recipe with you as well.
Actually my hair is quite natural. I’m happy to have my natural color, no grey. And after chemo my hair re grow a little bit darker and a little bit more curly. So, I don’t do much … really.
I use my favourite, natural toxic free shampoo from Young Living (because I’m more focused on all natural toxic free products now than ever) and I make my own, natural diy hair spray that I use daily.
This hair spray is not a styling spray that adds hold or anything. It’s simply a spray to give my hair shine, volume and natural look. It’s good for the hair and skin cells, it soothes scalp and promotes circulation and hair growth.
It’s 100% natural and super easy to make. It contains rosemary, peppermint and lavender essential oils and water. That’s it.
Rosemary is a wonderful powerhouse of an essential oil. It’s uplifting, energising and promotes circulation. It helps hair grow and keeps scalp and hair healthy.
Peppermint is cooling and soothing and keeps scalp from itching.
Lavender is relaxing and soothing and is good for skin and hair wellness.
So without further ado, here is the recipe:
