Pink limonade a-la tropical Oslo

Ok, Yes I know I’m going on and on every day about the wonderful summer weather in Oslo …. but really, it is quite unusual! I mean, 32 degrees Celsius! it’s May (still – even if it’s last day) and today all we can think about is ice cold lemonade… 😊

So, after making vegan red pepper soup at the café today I decided I needed to make some fresh, ice cold lemonade for me and the girls at home.

Luckily Sol (my youngest daughter 16) had picked some lemons and frozen raspberries at the grocery store yesterday so I was all set for pink lemonade today.

This recipe is quick and easy and made in seconds …

I added some “frosting” on the glass brim dipping the brim of the glass into the lemonade and then in white sugar.

Pink Limonade a-la tropical Oslo

Freshly squeezed juice from 2-3 lemons

Freshly squeezed juice from 1 lime

150 ml frozen raspberries

150 ml sugar

500 ml water

Mix all ingredients well in a blender

Add ice cubes to the glasses and pour the lemonade over the ice cubes.

Adding a fresh peppermint leaf on top makes it look fresh and “luxurious”.

Needless to say we had a little “party” in the garden this afternoon. Enjoying the yummy pink (ok red ) limonade, biscuits and “tropical” summer weather.

Hvem fristes vel ikke av deilig, hjemmelagd bringebær-lime-limonade på en tropisk sommerdag som den vi har i Oslo idag.

Fantastisk med 32 grader og herlig sommervær.

Alt jeg kunne tenke på på vei hjem etter å ha lagd ukas vegan paprika-suppe på Lille Kampen idag var at jeg visste at jeg hadde sitroner, lime og bringebær hjemme på kjøkkenet.

Oppskriften min er superenkel og lages på noen sekunder i blenderen.

Glassene har jeg “frostet” med sukker på kanten.

Jeg dyppet kanten av glasset i limonade og deretter i sukker.
