I'm so happy and proud to finally be able to share my FREE pattern on my crochet newsboy caps. Must say I love this cute, easy-to-make summer caps. The 3dc-cluster-pattern makes the caps airy and light to wear even when it's warm and sunny outside. The brim gives a tiny bit of shade for the eyes. I wanted this caps to have the classic newsboy look, fit well, be cute, summery and feminine, be loose and easy to wear but still not baggy.... and in my opinion I managed to catch it all. 😊 This caps is suitable for girls and women. It's one size only so if your head is smaller or larger than 56-58 cm you'll probably need to make some adjustments. It also depends a little bit on type of yarn you choose to use. So I recommend you measure ...

Crochet daisy head band
Finally it came some rain in Oslo today. The nature, trees, plants, flowers were all dry and need the life giving water now. So - we smile even if it pours down. Besides I love the smell of summer rain and the freshness it brings. The rain didn't stay for long and soon the sun were back making all the raindrops twinkle like little jewels. I've used the day making this super cute, hippie, daisy head band. I've written the instructions in Norwegian and English so nobody will miss out. This time the Norwegian instruction is first, so you'll have to scroll down for English. Today it turned out my beautiful girl, Sol, (her name actually means sun ☀ or sunshine in Norwegian) had dressed up perfectly for the new headband and ...
Plastic free Vegetable net
Do you love fresh fruits and vegetables even more in the summer? Me too! I love going to the fruit market and pick mangoes, peaches, melon, apples.... all kinds of fresh fruit. What I really like about the vegetable / fruit market is that most of the fruits and veggies are not wrapped in plastic. But then, when we pick the fruit we're about to buy we put it in little plastic bags ... to reduce the use of plastic I decided I wanted to make some nets to use when I'm shopping for fruits and veggies that are easy to bring along in a handbag. So I decided to use some of my spare cotton yarn and crochet a veggie net. I'll share the crochet recipe for my net in English and Norwegian. Along my way I realised more people are thinking the same ...
