Today is Sols graduation day after finishing 10th grade. Congrats to my beautiful girl!!
And of course there will be a party at school where we all have to bring some finger food.
I chose to make some luxurious, typical Norwegian smoked salmon&tortilla rolls. I really love this simple yet tasty finger food.
I’ll write this recipe in English because I wrote my sweet bun recipe yesterday in Norwegian – and because I guess it’s no need for a recipe for this rolls for my Norwegian friends.
They are some kind of healthy, they are pretty simple to make and most people love them.
You’ll need wheat/potato tortillas, cream cheese (I used one with herbs and garlic), smoked Norwegian salmon or trout, dill, alfalfa sprouts or other kinds of sprouts, ruccola salad. You need to cut the smoked fish in thin slices or buy ready sliced fish.
Spread out the tortillas and spread the cream cheese on the tortillas. Add salad, fish in thin slices, sprouts, dill and a little bit freshly ground pepper.
Roll each tortilla tight and cut in pieces aprx 1cm.
I’ve decorated the plate with fresh horseradishes because it’s just the season for these, and they add a wonderful splash of color.
I arrange the sliced tortillas around in a flower-shape.
Hope you enjoy this Norwegian take on finger food.
Happy day!
Hugs
Gudrun
